I have stayed at the hilltop as a weekly guest for about 3 months now. I really like the staff, they are all super friendly. Your neighbors are also very friendly and everyone watches out for each other. The rooms are very clean. They have Wi-Fi which doesn't get the best reception in the very back of the building but everywhere else is pretty good. The location is really nice. It's about a block away from Walmart and KwikTrip. I would definitely come back here for the night or for the week again.
I have been staying here for about two weeks now and I am very pleased with everything. Everyone is so friendly, the room was extremely clean, and it's cheap! I feel like I know my neighbors really well and everyone seems to care for each other. There are only a few employees so they all interact with their guests which is nice and makes it feel homey. I would definitely recommend the hilltop for both short and long stays.

This place is fine!! We stay here for horse shows. It is very retro, but clean. I think it's kind of nostalgic. I didn't feel unsafe - but then again, I live in Chicago. If you are expecting a palace for this price, well, you will be disappointed. If you are looking for a clean place to sleep and shower, this is just fine.
Great service, my room was clean. The rooms are a little outdated but otherwise filled with charm and in the heart of a small town. Great place for a weekend getaway with the kids. Also conveniently placed by downtown Jefferson,WI.
The showers are sound proofed, so when you stab someone to death while making the re-re-re-re sound, no one will hear the screams. And the ice box is big enough to hide the body.
Old but clean and cozy motel at bargain price. Nice staff. No frills. Older but pleasant decor.
